Some of the world’s best Para cyclists will gather in the Belgian city from 18-21 May for the second UCI Road World Cup of the year.

Dutch Paralympic gold medallists Jetze Plat (men’s H4 ) and Alyda Norbruis (women's C2 ), and Italy’s Rio 2016 champions Luca Mazzone (men’s H2 ) and Paolo Cecchetto (men’s H3 ) will be some of the big names competing.

Five local people have been granted the Freedom of the Borough in recognition of their long-standing service. Awards were presented to Bradley Hemmings MBE, Bob Harris, The Rt.
